Conditions Of Hire
For your safety we promote Weymouth & Portland’s Health & Safety initiative. All guests who book at The Pebbles are agreeing with all of the following at the point of making the booking:

The person who made the booking and signs below is entirely responsible for all members of his / her party and should ensure that they are all fully aware of the conditions of hire.

We are a totally non-smoking establishment which is rigorously enforced. If any guest smokes anywhere in the building there will be a charge made for cleaning of the room at £50.00 per room where smoke can be smelt, even if guests have already checked out as all agree to our T’s & C’s when booking. Smoking is permitted only in the back garden on the patio where an ashtray is provided. We thank you in advance for your co-operation. By signing below you are accepting that you are fully aware this is a no smoking establishment and will pay the above amount if you or any of your party smoke any where other than in the garden area.

Cancellation must be made in writing by the person making the booking and is subject to the charges as quoted in our Terms and Conditions.
We would only cancel your stay if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however, attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible or unacceptable to you then we would refund all monies paid by you for your stay. Except in exceptional circumstances, our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Booking Liability.
The Amenities are entirely at the user’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss and damage or to motor vehicles. The person who made the booking is entirely responsible for all members of his / her party and should ensure that they are all individually fully aware of the conditions of hire. The number of people in the accommodation must never exceed the number as stated on the reservation details or what the accommodation is designed for. All names including visitors must be supplied and agreed in writing.
Children must be under adult supervision in the accommodation and in the grounds at all times.

For your safety a risk assessment has been carried out in the accommodation and around the grounds, you will find a fire and safety notice in the accommodation, this must be complied with at all times by all members of your party. The owner reserves the right enter to room at any time if there is a reason to believe safety notices are being contravened or to carry out repairs. On arrival please make yourselves conversant with the property and grounds and ensure all members of your party are aware of the means of escape procedure.
Safety and security notices must be complied with at all times. On your arrival, if you have any queries or need clarification on any points, please ask.

Check In – Out Times
Check-in is: 4:00pm – 7:00pm (unless pre-arranged)
All rooms should be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure.
We aim to service all rooms between the hours of 10.00am & 12.00pm. If this is inconvenient please advise us so you are not disturbed.

Children
Our accommodation is adults only.

Smoking
We are a totally non-smoking establishment in line with UK law. Unfortunately there are no smoking bedrooms at The Pebbles. Smoke detectors are extremely sensitive and will detect cigarette smoke. Guests will be asked to leave without a refund on the first occasion and charged £60.00 for cleaning as well as being reported to the Police. Smoking is permitted only on the garden patio where ashtrays are provided. We thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Booking T’s & C’s
A Non-Refundable deposit should be made within 24 hours of making the booking. (Please see Tariff for payment details).

Credit & Debit Card Charges

All credit & debit card companies charge us to process your cards which unfortunately we now have to pass on.

The charges are:
Credit Cards: – £3.00 below £100 and the charge is 3% above £100.
Debit cards:- £2 below £100 and the charge is 2% above £100 (This is due to the card companies now charging to process Debit cards!).
Due to excessive charges we are no longer able to take American Express and Diners Club cards.

Cancellations
Cancellation must be made in writing by the person making the booking and is subject to the charges as quoted in our Terms and Conditions. We would only cancel your stay if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however, attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible or unacceptable to you then we would refund all monies paid by you for your stay. Except in exceptional circumstances, our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

In the event of you choosing to cancel the booking less than 6 months prior to arrival date for whatever reason the following cancellation tariff will apply:
In all cases: – 100% of the total.

Should the room be rebooked for the full period originally cancelled then a full refund will be given minus a 15% admin fee. If you leave early or on the day of arrival or do not arrive all the remaining nights will be chargeable at 100%.

For the above reasons we recommend all guests to take out Holiday Insurance to cover against cancellation.
